These images were created during the three phases of the UK lockdown. As each lockdown began, I placed Polaroid images in the cleaning solutions we were using to sanitise our hands and homes, and removed some of these photographs each time a restriction was lifted. A beauty emerged which reflected the appreciation I experienced of my surroundings during the long periods of incarceration. The chemicals distorted and corrupted the images, altering hues and adding a cellular quality.
